About Coyle Homes
Coyle Homes provide specialist children's homes offering residential care for children and young people with complex care needs, including those experiencing emotional and behavioural difficulties, mental health challenges, and the impact of exploitation. Through our small, nurturing family-style homes, we create safe, stable, and caring environments where children can feel valued, build trusting relationships, heal from past experiences, and develop the confidence and skills to thrive in the future.
Our Ethos
Supporting Children and Young People to Thrive
Many of the children and young people we support have faced significant challenges in their lives, including trauma, loss, instability, and disrupted relationships. We understand the impact these experiences can have, and our approach is rooted in empathy, understanding, and consistency rather than judgement.

Every child is unique, and we believe their care should be too. We work alongside each young person to understand their individual needs, strengths, interests, and aspirations, ensuring they have a genuine voice in decisions that affect their lives. Within the safety and stability of our homes, we help children build positive relationships, develop resilience, celebrate achievements, and grow in confidence. Our goal is to empower every young person to recognise their potential, make positive choices, and look towards the future with hope and ambition.
Our Approach to Care
Our children's homes are intentionally small and nurturing, providing children and young people with the stability, attention, and sense of belonging they need to thrive. By supporting a small number of children in each home, Coyle Homes create a warm, family-style environment where every child is known, valued, and supported as an individual.

This approach allows us to provide:

High levels of personalised care and support tailored to each child

Consistent, trusting relationships with caring adults

A safe, calm, and structured environment where children can feel secure

Greater placement stability and long-term positive outcomes
Our practice is trauma-informed, child-centred, and relationship-focused. Every child has an individualised care plan built around their needs, strengths, interests, and aspirations. We work closely with therapeutic and clinical professionals, including our in-house mental health nursing team, to ensure children receive holistic support that promotes emotional wellbeing, personal development, and positive life opportunities.

Above all, Coyle Homes aim to provide children with a place where they feel safe, heard, and cared for, helping them build confidence, resilience, and the foundations for a brighter future.
